The team created furniture last month for the President’s office at WWU. “It’s a pretty cool feeling to know that something I made will be in there,” said Shop Manager Evan Grimes. The project consists of a desk, coffee table, hutch for the office and a display cabinet for the waiting room. “All of it is made out of red oak,” said Co-owner Wes Smith. “The coffee table is from a tree that was harvested right off of sehome hill about 5 yrs ago. It really relates to Western, and relates to the place it came from.”
