Smith & Vallee Cabinet Makers is a residential custom cabinetry company, building high quality cabinetry and providing responsive customer service to our clients and partner builders, architects and designers.
Established in 1997, our cabinet making facility is located in Skagit Valley, just over an hour drive north of Seattle, so we are frequently working on projects in the greater Seattle area, Anacortes, Bellingham, and the San Juan Islands. We build custom cabinets at competitive prices. There is no retail mark-up on our cabinetry as we are the direct manufacturer. Quality staff. Every employee I've spoken to has been nothing but respectful and helpful, especially Wes. Wes explained many steps of the company's processes in detail to create quality cabinetry and the like. I would give a 10/10 if google wasn't a mere 5/5 review receptacle.
We absolutely love our kithchen cabinets. Style, finish and functionality are all outstanding. After 14+ years of use, they of course need a little upkeep. We just renovated our kitchen and laundry room using Smith & Vallee cabinets. We were very pleased with the outcome and their customer service. We were trying to maintain a bit of our old 1957 kitchen and they created a sliding glass cabinet to replicate the old one and also a small hanging cabinet to replicate an old telephone cabinet. Beautiful work and easy to install cabinets based on their measurements and provided trim.Highly recommend getting a bid from these folks. Great people to work with and very reasonable compared to some of our other bids. I also suggest going up to Bow to see their shop. What a great little place.

Smith & Vallee did a household full of cabinetry for us -- kitchen, bathroom vanities, office cabinetry, and a Murphy bed system with storage. Everything turned out great. The designer and the owner were very helpful with suggestions and patient with our tinkering, and the fabrication was excellent. The pricing was also reasonable for custom cabinetry. I highly recommend S&V to anyone considering new cabinets.

After living with our new kitchen for almost a year, there was one item that just didn’t work well for us, a small cabinet with pull outs. I reached out to them and asked if it was possible to have a small change made, fully expecting them to tell me it wouldn’t work. And if it did, it might be cost prohibitive. I sent them photos and shortly thereafter they scheduled time to come for a visit. Within a few hours one afternoon, they accomplished what I’d hoped for and didn’t even charge us! Awesome company and a great crew to work with!
We needed two custom cabinets for our master bathroom and Smith and Vallee produced some fabulous cabinets for us. One was a live edge wood slab that they finished and installed as well. Both cabinets were built to our exact dimensions, finish, and layout. We love them both and they will last a lifetime. We’ll definitely use them again on our next project.
