Smith & Vallee Woodworks is fabricating cabinets for approximately 20 homes, destined for the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana.
We are so excited to be working on a collaboration with Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation and Method Homes to bring safe, healthy and solid LEED certified homes to the Fort Peck Reservation.
It feels good to be working on a project that helps to provide low-income housing in an area with high need of shelter. The designs are very modern and sustainably built.
A little about the Make It Right Foundation from their facebook page-
“Make It Right builds well-designed homes that are safe and healthy for the homeowner and the environment. We began in 2007 by building homes for families in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward, who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina. Today we are working in New Orleans, Newark, Kansas City and the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana. Our goal is to help make green homes affordable for people in need across the country.”
